SQA is the principal organization mandated to provide:

  1. Policy Advice
  2. Regulate Qualifications and Quality Standards
  3. Quality Assure (PSET)
  4. Coordinate Post School and Educational Training

Post School Education and Training (PSET) subsector refers to all institutions or organizations that offers Education and Training that occur outside of the early childhood, primary and secondary education system using any structured mode of delivery.

Post School Education & Training Includes:

  1. Tertiary Level at University
  2. Pre and In Service Professional Training
  3. Technical and Vocational Education
  4. Theological Colleges and Religious Instructions
  5. Apprenticeship
  6. Non Formal Learning
  7. On the Job Training
